Cabas,

"Diane Cabas is an artist and educator who captures the artistry of life through impressionistic landscapes and still-life compositions. Her art mainly focuses on the abundance of nature in different forms.

At the age of five, she started painting under the mentorship of Pol Mesina, Jr., president of ARTipolo Group, and with the guidance of her father, Diego A. Cabas. She believed in herself and succeeded as a young artist with ARTipolo Group, participating in different exhibits, training, and seminars. Now, as a teacher at Sumulong Memorial High School, she continues to train her students in visual and media arts as the adviser of the school’s Junior Artisans Guild.

Diane started her journey using oil pastels and chalk, and as she grew fond of animals, she created acrylic paintings of koi fish, dogs, and cats. She has tried other mediums, such as graphite and watercolor paintings, but her main medium is acrylic paint. She also plans to pursue other art styles such as abstraction, surrealism, and fauvism."

“With the joyous colors of life, it is a fruitful journey to conquer and fulfill. Everything that happens right now is all but a memory to remember, and it will all be a part of the pages of people’s lives.”
