Castillo,

Elizabeth Esguerra Castillo is a multi-awarded international author, poet, journalist, and visual artist from the Philippines. Her artworks have graced several local and international art exhibitions in the USA, India, London, South Korea, Argentina, Hungary, and Mexico—to name a few. She has garnered several international art awards in India, Argentina, and South Korea.

Elizabeth considers herself an intuitive artist, as she gets inspiration from images that come to her mind and straight out of her dreams. Gustav Klimt, Vincent Van Gogh, and Frida Kahlo are her art influences, but she also does experimental art from time to time. Her artworks lean towards abstract expressionism and mystical and surrealistic art using her main medium, mixed media characterized by textured surfaces. Some of her works utilize recycled materials to depict the harsh effects of global warming.

Elizabeth participated in the Busan International Art Festival in South Korea and won a Bronze Award for her art piece “Flipper.” She was also a participating artist in the Busan International Environmental Art Festival where she was chosen as one of the 50 World Artists. She is a member of ARTipolo Group and FIAG Fantapia International Art Group based in South Korea. She is the owner and CEO of Art Heals by Elizabeth Esguerra Castillo.
