"Rodgie Gapayao is a veteran visual artist whose name has been around local art circles for 28 years now. Before entering the art scene, he worked in print media advertising and was the publisher of Miscellaneous Weekly Magazine. He was also the president and publisher of Mom and Kids Magazine.

An impressionist painter, Rodgie uses different mediums such as oil and soft pastels, watercolors, oils, and acrylics. Through his skill with a paintbrush, he is able to create accurate depictions of light with all its changing qualities, evident in his art pieces.

Rodgie started his art journey with Sikat Art Group, and his works have been featured in two solo art exhibitions. Among his notable art works were a Japanese-inspired painting displayed at the Teppanya Japanese Restaurant branches in Ayala Alabang and SM North Edsa. Some of the collectors of Rodgie’s art include the likes of Director Maning Borlaza and Maryo De Los Reyes."
