“The object of my paintings is nature, whether it is a traditional landscape or a bird or a person’s portrait. I use traditional materials such as acrylic, oil, and watercolor.

“While contemplating about leaving a mark in the art industry and a legacy to the younger generation of artists, I opened an art studio for novice artists and anyone else who wants to learn how to paint.

“The reason is simple: I will not wait a lifetime to be the artist I dream to be, but I will make each day count to grow my ambition and to inspire others, so that they too can paint. Beauty abounds and we need more artists to uncover these wonders.

“In 2021, together with other Filipino artists, we launched FilEstilo—an organization of Filipino artists based in Guangdong, China. As of today, FilEstilo members have participated in numerous art exhibitions, as individuals or as a group, in the Philippines, China, and other countries.”
